By placing an order or submitting a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. ⸻ Terms & Conditions Customers must be 18 years of age or older to place an order. ⸻ Payment Policy and Payment Plan Full payment must be received prior to shipment or delivery of any animal. Payment plans are available for orders of $300 or more. To reserve a gecko that is over $300, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $100 or 25% of the total purchase price (whichever is greater) is required. The remaining balance must be paid in full within 30 days, unless alternative arrangements have been made and agreed upon. Deposits for geckos under $300 will not be accepted and need to be paid in full to be considered held or purchased. Please note: A gecko is not considered reserved until a deposit has been received. We do not hold animals without a deposit. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. They are only transferable under rare circumstances and at my discretion. After 30 days, any unpaid balance will be forfeited, and the gecko will be relisted for sale unless a longer arrangements have been made. I understand that every situation is different— I try to be flexible with payment plans. If you need additional time or a custom plan, please communicate with me, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. All sales are final. ⸻ Shipping Policy I ship overnights only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and most Thursdays via FedEx and UPS. Shipping will be coordinated with the customer to confirm order details, the correct shipping address, and to ensure that someone will be available to receive the animal upon delivery. If incorrect shipping information is provided or the package is left unattended, all guarantees will be considered void. Shipments will only be made during safe and appropriate weather conditions based mainly off of Morph Market recommendations and alerts. For optimal safety and reliability, we strongly recommend hub pickup at your nearest FedEx or UPS facility. Geckos must be picked up within two hours of arrival to maintain any health or live arrival guarantees. Geckos will not be shipped until they have reached a minimum weight of 15 grams, to ensure they are feeding, shedding and defecating well and are in otherwise good health. While I take every precaution to ensure safe and timely delivery, Genesis Geckos is not liable for delays or mishandling by the shipping carrier. ⸻ Dead on Arrival (DOA) & Returns In the rare event that a gecko arrives deceased (DOA), you must notify me within one hour of the delivery time listed by the shipping carrier. A clear photo/video of the gecko must be submitted via email or text message within this same time frame. Failure to comply will void all guarantees. Please note: Tail loss during shipping, while uncommon, does not qualify for a refund. Returns are not accepted on live animal purchases unless the animal is confirmed DOA under the conditions stated above. ⸻ Health Guarantee I offer a 7 day health guarantee, provided the gecko is kept under proper care and husbandry. Proof of illness or death must be provided. This guarantee does not cover injuries or illness resulting from improper care, cohabitation with other animals, tail loss, or enclosure-related accidents (e.g., burns, escapes, etc.). ⸻ Sexing Policy While I make every effort to determine the sex of my geckos accurately, sex cannot be guaranteed, especially in animals identified through temperature sexing. I will indicate if a gecko is a Temperature Sexed Male (TSM) or Temperature Sexed Female (TSF) where applicable. Definitive sex will only be stated when I have high confidence based on physical development. ——— Buyer Responsibility By purchasing a gecko from Genesis Geckos, the buyer acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the animal upon arrival. It is the buyer’s duty to: • Provide proper housing, temperature, nutrition, and overall care in accordance with accepted Leopard Gecko husbandry standards. • Be available at the time of delivery or arrange timely pickup from a FedEx or UPS hub (within two hours) to ensure the health guarantee remains valid. • Stay informed about the care requirements and long-term commitment involved in reptile ownership. • Notify me immediately of any issues upon receiving the gecko, within the timeframes specified under our DOA and health guarantee policies. Failure to meet these responsibilities may void guarantees or result in preventable harm to the animal. I am committed to the well-being of my geckos and expect the same level of care and responsibility from my customers.
