Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service (Terms) form a binding agreement between you (User) and Purple Turtle Technologies LLC dba ReptileAds.com (RADS, we, our, or us). By creating an account, browsing, or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell on ReptileAds. By using the platform, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

Platform Role

ReptileAds is an independent classified ads platform. Buyers and sellers contract directly with each other. RADS is not a broker, agent, escrow service, guarantor, or party to any transaction.

Compliance with Laws

All users must comply with federal, state, and local laws, including those governing animal welfare, commerce, and shipping. Listings or purchases that violate applicable laws are prohibited.

Prohibited Items and Animals

Users may not list or attempt to purchase animals, products, or services that are illegal, unsafe, or banned in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction. Venomous animals are strictly prohibited on ReptileAds. Any listings for venomous reptiles or other dangerous wildlife will be removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension. RADS reserves the right to remove prohibited content at its discretion.

User Conduct

Users must communicate respectfully and act honestly when using the platform. Harassment, abusive language, scams, or fraudulent behavior are not tolerated. Users are solely responsible for their own actions and communications.

Payments and Transactions

RADS does not process payments or provide shipping. Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging safe and legal payment and delivery methods. Unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in account suspension.

Content and Intellectual Property

Users must only post content they have the rights to use, including photos, descriptions, and media. By posting, you grant RADS a limited license to display and distribute your content for the purpose of operating the platform. RADS may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Optional Identity Verification

RADS may offer an optional verification process where users can voluntarily submit sensitive personal information, including government-issued identification or proof of residence. Submission is entirely voluntary. By submitting documents, users consent to their use solely for verification purposes, including fraud prevention, account maintenance, and compliance with legal obligations. Documents are stored securely for the minimum period necessary to complete verification, and in some cases may be retained longer if reasonably necessary. Access is limited to authorized RADS personnel, and documents are deleted once no longer needed.

Disputes and Liability

RADS is not a party to disputes between buyers and sellers. Users agree that RADS is not liable for any loss, injury, misrepresentation, or damages arising from use of the platform. Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving their own disputes.

Platform Rights

RADS reserves the right to suspend accounts, remove content, or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes must be brought in the courts of Texas, USA.
