Facebook bio Hello everyone, my name is Johnny and my love for animals has been a part of who I am since I was a young boy. At one point telling my parents that I wanted to be a veterinary when I grow up. Either way I knew I wanted to work with animals. Who would have thought that would take me down the path I travel today. My interest in reptiles is not so different than many in the industry. As a young child I was always obsessed with dinosaurs. Every birthday and Christmas all I wanted were dinosaur toys. I can remember around the age of four chasing baby toads in my front yard and rattling bushes on the side of the house to flush out brown anoles. As I grew older, running through the neighborhood trying to find other reptiles to get ahold of. My first pet reptile was actually a baby green iguana caught by a neighbor. That didn’t last long and soon after the iguana had escaped its enclosure which I kept on the back porch. I was about 7 at this time so I had absolutely no idea what keeping cold blooded creatures was like. Fast forward 10 years (2006) I get my first ball python. I can remember back then seeing morphs online on the forums. Seeing albinos, pieds, and clowns with their amazing patterns and colors. I remember just being amazed how beautiful these animals are and thinking there’s no way I’ll ever own one of those. Fast forward agin to 2021. Having since long found a home for my Slinky snake. With hopes of someday owning reptiles, I attended my first expo that and brought home new ball python. Of course doing all the research after the fact. I go down the YouTube rabbit hole and my eyes were opened to the vast world of Ball Pythons! Follow me on this journey and let’s see just how far this snake hole goes!
