Store Policy Thank you for your interest in my reptiles! Please read the following policies carefully before purchasing. Buying a snake is exciting. Discovering you skipped the fine print afterward is considerably less exciting. 🐍 Deposits & Payment - A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to place an animal on hold. - Deposits will be applied toward the total purchase price. - The remaining balance must be paid in full before the animal is shipped or picked up. - Payment plans may be available on a case-by-case basis. - Failure to complete payment within the agreed-upon timeframe may result in the animal being placed back up for sale. Any deposit already made will not be refunded. Holds - Animals may be placed on hold with an approved deposit. - Hold periods and payment arrangements must be agreed upon before the deposit is sent. - I reserve the right to cancel a hold if the buyer becomes unresponsive or fails to follow the agreed payment schedule. Shipping - Shipping is available weather permitting and will be scheduled when temperatures are safe for the animal. - I ship through an approved live-reptile shipping service. - Animals are shipped Monday through Wednesday, when appropriate, to avoid unnecessary weekend delays. - The buyer must be available to receive the animal on the scheduled delivery date. - A shipping delay caused by unsafe weather or carrier issues may require the shipment to be postponed. The animal's safety comes first. The snake does not care about our schedules, unfortunately. Live Arrival Guarantee - I guarantee live arrival when the buyer is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt and contacts me immediately in the event of an issue. - In the unlikely event of a problem, clear photos and/or video must be provided immediately upon receipt. - I am not responsible for carrier delays, missed deliveries, incorrect addresses provided by the buyer, or packages left unattended. Animal Health - All animals are represented honestly and to the best of my knowledge. - Animals will be healthy, properly established, and feeding before leaving my care unless otherwise clearly disclosed. - Feeding information and basic care details will be provided when applicable. - Genetics are identified based on the best available information from the breeder, pairing information, and my knowledge. Recessive genetics are represented as visual, 100% het, possible het, or otherwise stated based on available records. Sex & Genetics - Sex is determined to the best of my ability before sale. - Buyers are responsible for reviewing the animal's listed genetics and asking any questions before purchasing. - I stand behind the genetics as represented based on the information available to me at the time of sale. Local Pickup - Local pickup may be available by appointment. - Once an animal has been picked up and leaves my care, the buyer assumes responsibility for its husbandry, setup, and wellbeing. Returns & Refunds - All sales are final. - I do not offer refunds or returns on live animals except in circumstances covered by the live arrival guarantee or where otherwise required by law. - Please be certain you are ready for the financial and long-term commitment of owning a reptile before purchasing. Buyer Responsibility By purchasing an animal, the buyer confirms that they: - Have researched the species and understand its basic care requirements. - Have a proper enclosure, heating, and husbandry setup ready. - Have verified that ownership of the animal is legal in their area. - Understand that purchasing a live animal is a long-term commitment. Right to Refuse Sale I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time if I believe the transaction is not in the best interest of the animal.
