1.0 Bongo SN OD Yb het paint (Visual?) het clown

This listing offers a single male ball python (Python regius), a 2025 baby currently weighing 155 grams, described by the seller as Bongo, Spotnose Orange Dream, Yellow Belly, with het Paint and het Clown genetics. The animal is captive bred, currently feeding on live mice, and is being sold by Junkin Riots out of Adairsville, Georgia.

According to the seller, this snake comes from a pairing of Bongo Yellow Belly Paint x Spotnose Orange Dream Clown, which by genetic expectation should produce an animal that is double het for paint and clown rather than a visual paint. However, the seller notes uncertainty around this, explaining that paint's inheritance pattern is not fully settled in the community, with mixed opinions on whether it behaves as recessive or incomplete dominant, and that this particular animal has not been tested. The seller raises the possibility that the snake may in fact be showing visual paint traits, stating that if it is simply het paint, it looks better than any visual paint they have personally seen, though they are careful to say they are not arguing either way. A clutchmate is mentioned and pictured for comparison, described as a Bongo Spotnose Yellow Belly double het paint/clown, with the seller expressing surprise at how much visual impact the Orange Dream gene appears to have contributed to the animal being offered. This is presented as a holdback animal being made available by the seller at a price they're comfortable with.

No breeding history is mentioned, and the snake is not described as a proven breeder. The listing includes two photographs and confirms the exact animal is pictured. Origin is captive bred, and no additional feeding or husbandry details beyond the live mouse diet are provided.

The animal is priced at $6,000 USD with free shipping offered by the seller, though international shipping is not available. Payment options listed include Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal, and credit or debit card. The seller is not marked as verified on the platform.

Prospective buyers may want to confirm the genetic makeup directly with the seller, particularly regarding whether the animal expresses any visual paint traits or is strictly het, given the seller's own acknowledged uncertainty on how paint genetics express and the lack of testing. Buyers should also verify the exact birth date, any additional care or feeding history, and shipping logistics and timing, since these details were not included in the listing.
