This listing is for a young female ball python (Python regius) offered by Baud's Exotic Reptiles, a verified seller based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Hatched on August 22, 2025, she is currently a baby weighing 107 grams, and the seller confirms the photos shown are of the exact animal being offered.
Genetically, she is described as a Super Mojave carrying het Axanthic (VPI). The Mojave gene is present in double dose (super), which is an incomplete dominant trait, while the Axanthic (VPI) is carried as a recessive het, meaning she is not visually axanthic but can pass the trait to offspring when paired appropriately. As this is a self-produced animal from the seller's own collection, the genetics come directly from their breeding records, though buyers should still confirm het percentages or verification method if that detail matters for their own breeding plans.
She is currently feeding on live mice according to the listing, and is not being sold as a proven breeder, nor is she listed as a pet-only animal. No length measurement was provided, only her current weight.
The asking price is $250 USD, with local pickup available in the Saint Petersburg area or shipping within the US for an additional $80. The seller notes they ship internationally, though export is currently listed only to the US. Payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or other unspecified methods.
Prospective buyers may want to confirm the exact het percentage or testing method behind the Axanthic (VPI) claim, ask for updated photos or measurements as she grows, clarify feeding schedule and current feeding response, and verify shipping logistics and any live arrival terms directly with the seller before purchase.
