SHIPPING & LIVE ARRIVAL GURANTEE
Unless stated otherwise, shipping within the United States is not included in the price. South Pacific Arboreals (SPA) typically ships via FedEx using Reptiles Express which requires that snakes be held for pickup at the nearest FedEx hub.
Live arrival is guaranteed provided that you comply with these 3 simple requirements:
1. You must pick up the package within 1 hour of FedEx making it available for pick up.
2. You must notify us of any problems within 2 hours of receiving the package.
3. You must provide us with a picture of the deceased animal(s).
If you insist that SPA ships directly to your door (or if hold for pickup is not an option), live arrival is not guaranteed.
HEALTH
We will take all reasonable steps to provide you with any after-sale support and advice. Unless specifically noted, all snakes will be in perfect condition when they are shipped having no history of internal or external parasites, respiratory infection, prolapse, or spinal kinks and will be aggressively feeding on frozen/thawed mice. And for peace of mind, your animal will ship with a 10-day health guarantee.
As always, if you are adding to an existing collection, be smart and quarantine all new specimens for a sufficient period of time. SPA will not be responsible for the alleged or actual death or illness of other animals in your collection due to your failure to follow appropriate quarantine protocols.
SEXING POLICY
Because of the delicate nature of their spines, Green Tree Pythons cannot be safely sexed until they are about 100 grams. Therefore, all hatchlings are sold as “unsexed”. SPA guarantees that animals that are sold as “sexed” animals will be accurately sexed. But mistakes happen so in the event an animal is mis-sexed, you must provide written notification to SPA within two weeks of receiving the animal. After the expiration of the two-week period, SPA will no longer be responsible for mis-sexed animals
PLACING ANIMALS ON HOLD
While we will not ship until an order is paid for in full, you can certainly place an animal on hold with a NON-REFUNDABLE minimum deposit of 25% with the remaining balance due within 30 days. If, for any reason, the customer fails to pay the balance prior to the expiration of the 30-day period, SPA will keep the 25% minimum downpayment but will return any additional monies that may have been paid above the 25% figure. The 25% retained payment may be used within 1 year for future orders. Of course, in the unlikely event that during the 30-day hold period your animal becomes less than perfect, SPA will promptly refund your fully paid amount - we will never knowingly ship an animal that isn't in perfect health.
