This is a captive bred Red Argentine Tegu (Salvator), a juvenile from the 2025 hatch year, listed by Wilsons Exotics in Uniontown, PA. Sex is listed as unknown, though the seller's own description refers to the animal as a male. The animal is currently being fed live roaches.
The seller notes that this tegu was calmer as a younger animal but is now going through a maturity phase and prefers not to be handled much, adding that with some work they believe he could settle down again.
The tegu is priced at $250 USD, with the price listed as negotiable. Local pickup is available, or shipping can be arranged for a $55 USD flat rate within the US. Buyers may want to confirm the animal's actual sex, current temperament and handling needs, and weight or size before purchasing.
