This listing from Red Onion Reptiles, a verified seller, offers a male Western Hognose snake (Heterodon nasicus) marketed under the name Arctic Sunburst. The snake is a baby, born September 16, 2025, and currently weighs just 7 grams, reflecting its very young age.
Genetically, the animal carries Arctic (incomplete dominant), Sable (recessive), and Albino (recessive) traits, which together are described as producing the Arctic Sunburst look. The seller states this is a self-produced animal and confirms that the photos represent the exact snake being sold, with three images provided. No additional written description was included by the seller beyond these listed genetics and stats.
The snake is not listed as a proven breeder, is not designated as a pet-only animal, and is not offered for trade. Feeding history is marked as unknown, and the diet is simply noted as appropriate feeder items, so buyers should ask directly about its current feeding schedule and feeding response given its small size and young age.
The asking price is $800 USD, with the seller located in Monette, Arkansas, in the United States. Shipping is available domestically through a method listed simply as "Other," and international shipping is not offered. A range of payment options are accepted, including credit card, PayPal, Cash App, money order, bank transfer, debit card, and Venmo.
Before purchasing, prospective buyers may want to confirm the exact shipping method and associated costs, the snake's current feeding history and most recent meal, whether any additional photos or growth updates are available given its very low starting weight, and any care specifics the seller can provide for this particular baby hognose.
