Sable Het Mai Tai pos Arctic

This listing offers a baby female Western Hognose (Heterodon nasicus), self-produced by the seller, Purple Turtle Technologies LLC, in Melissa, Texas. Hatched on June 5, 2025, she currently weighs 50 grams and is being sold as a single animal, not a proven breeder.

Genetically, she is described as Sable, het Toffee Belly (Recessive) and Arctic (Incomplete Dominant), with the title noting she is possibly het Mai Tai and possibly Arctic. Buyers should note the "pos" designations mean these traits are not confirmed, only suspected based on parentage. The seller mentions that photos of the parents, pairing information, and clutch mates are included further down in the listing, which may help buyers assess the genetic likelihood of these traits. Feeding history shows she is currently taking live rats.

The seller states that exact animal pictured is accurate, and six photos are provided. The listing does not describe temperament or health status beyond feeding habits, so buyers should not assume any claims in those areas beyond what is stated.

The snake is priced at $500 USD. The seller notes that for animals over $250, shipping to the buyer's nearest FedEx hub is normally included, though the listed shipping method here is local pickup only, so buyers should clarify directly with the seller whether shipping is available for this particular animal or if pickup in Melissa, TX is required. Payment can be made via credit card or Cash App.

Before purchasing, prospective buyers may want to confirm the actual genetic status of the het Mai Tai and possible Arctic traits, since these are listed as "pos" rather than confirmed. It would also be worth confirming shipping availability and cost given the discrepancy between the general shipping policy mentioned and the local-pickup-only method listed, as well as asking about the snake's current feeding schedule and any additional care details the seller can provide.
