Ornate Flying Snake

This listing is for an adult male Ornate Flying Snake (Chrysopelea ornata), a wild-caught colubrid being offered by Spotted Scales: Tokay Geckos & More out of Waller, TX. The seller states they have kept this snake since January 2026 and that it measures less than three feet. The photo provided is described as the exact animal pictured.

According to the seller, this male's sex was confirmed after he was found locked with a female, and the pairing is noted as proven, though the seller also mentions that the female passed away after laying eggs. No offspring or hatch results are mentioned. The snake is described as feeding exclusively on live Anolis sagrei anoles and house geckos, and the seller notes they are not willing to attempt converting it to another diet for convenience, so prospective buyers should be prepared to source these live feeders. No genetics or morph traits are listed, as is typical for a wild-caught specimen of this species.

The snake is priced at $100 USD, with the price listed as firm. Local pickup is available in Waller, TX, and the seller offers delivery to Tinley if arranged and paid for in advance. Shipping options include a listed price range and other unspecified methods, though the seller does not ship internationally, despite export countries of Canada and Germany being noted on the listing. A range of payment options are accepted, including credit card, bank transfer, cash, and several digital payment platforms.

Buyers considering this animal may want to confirm the snake's current weight and exact length, clarify what shipping options and costs are actually available to their location, verify feeding logistics given its specialized live-prey diet, and ask about the snake's general care history and any other health or husbandry notes before committing to a purchase.
