We completed another major round of technical improvements across ReptileAds, including better page indexing, cleaner marketplace URLs, improved page titles and metadata, sitemap updates, and more consistent navigation across desktop, mobile, and the ReptileAds app.

These changes improve both marketplace usability and how reptile listings and category pages are discovered through search engines.

African Fat-Tailed Geckos have officially joined the ReptileAds marketplace with their own dedicated category. This is also an important milestone behind the scenes: we've upgraded our category system so new species and marketplace categories can be added much more quickly as ReptileAds grows.

New categories will continue to be added based on marketplace demand and seller inventory. Breeders with a significant number of animals that aren't currently well represented by an existing category are encouraged to reach out and let us know what they'd like to bring to ReptileAds.

We improved inventory imports from MorphMarket and Husbandry Pro with smarter category matching across ReptileAds. Imported animals can now be matched more accurately to the correct marketplace categories, reducing manual corrections and making it easier for sellers to bring existing inventory into ReptileAds.

We expanded our account verification tools to strengthen marketplace safety and give our team additional ways to review suspicious accounts. Accounts placed under verification review can now be temporarily restricted from posting new listings or importing inventory until verification is completed, with improved notifications and verification workflows throughout the process.

We improved listing management with better handling of imported inventory, duplicate listings, featured animals, and sale pricing. Sellers can more easily end sales across multiple animals, while additional reporting improvements help us respond faster to marketplace concerns and maintain a cleaner buying and selling experience.

We resolved an issue that could cause the marketplace to progressively slow down during longer browsing sessions. Additional performance improvements were made to notifications, page navigation, and listing behavior to provide a faster and more reliable experience while browsing, messaging, and managing orders.

We've strengthened marketplace protections by expanding safeguards against spam and fraudulent activity. Improvements to account verification, comments, and buyer inquiries help create a safer experience while reducing unwanted interactions for buyers and sellers.

We improved the seller experience with more accurate listing counts, better storefront consistency, and additional dashboard enhancements. These updates make it easier to manage inventory while ensuring buyers see more reliable information when browsing seller stores and marketplace listings.

We continued improving marketplace performance with faster page rendering, cleaner listing layouts, and ongoing optimizations across the platform. Seller stores and marketplace pages should now feel smoother on both desktop and mobile, creating a better browsing experience for buyers and sellers.

We improved marketplace search, advanced filters, listing layouts, and mobile seller tools to help buyers find reptiles faster and make inventory easier to manage. Genetic trait searches are now more flexible, listing tables display better across devices, and sellers can more efficiently manage reptile listings from desktop or mobile.

We released several improvements for reptile sellers, including better mobile payment settings, enhanced seller profile controls, new listing options for price flexibility and trades, and additional safeguards when updating profile images and banners. These updates make managing your reptile business on ReptileAds even easier.

We updated shipping quote behavior, improved quote validation, and fixed several order-notification issues. Sellers should now receive more reliable alerts when orders are placed, and buyers should see a smoother quote experience.
