Leucistic (Possibly Arctic) 66% Het True Hypo

This listing is for a young male Western Hognose (Heterodon nasicus) hatched July 29, 2025, offered by Bluestone Exotics, LLC, a verified seller based in Holiday, Florida. He's described as Leucistic, possibly Arctic, and 66% het True Hypo, with genetics tracing from an unrelated het Leucistic and True Hypo (possibly het Pistachio) parent paired with an Arctic Conda het Leucistic and True Hypo (possibly het Albino) parent. The seller notes that visual True Hypo siblings were also produced in the same clutch. This is a self-produced animal, and the exact animal pictured is the one being sold.

At the time of listing he weighed 7g, with the seller noting weight updates showing 7.4g on 9/15/25 and 15.4g by 12/11/25, indicating steady growth. He is currently eating frozen mouse. The seller describes him as a feisty, defensive individual, prone to bluff strikes and sudden movements, though he calms somewhat once handled, and notes he consistently takes his meals without refusal. As with hatchling hognoses generally, the seller states babies are not shipped until they've taken 8 to 10 consecutive meals without issue and reached a minimum weight of 8 to 10g, though this snake already appears to meet that benchmark based on the growth updates provided. He is not being sold as a proven breeder and is not marked as a pet-only animal.

The asking price is $2,500 USD. The seller is located in Holiday, FL, and offers local pickup in the Tampa Bay area, as well as shipping via flat rate or Redline Shipping to most of the continental US, with FedEx overnight express noted as the shipping method when applicable. International shipping is not available. The seller notes that due to regulations on plains hognose ownership, shipments to Colorado, Iowa, and Illinois require proof of proper permits, and holds are accepted with a 25% or greater deposit, with shipping paused until temperatures are safe.

Buyers considering this hognose may want to confirm the current age-appropriate feeding schedule and most recent weight, verify the exact genetic makeup given the "possibly" qualifiers on Arctic, het Pistachio, and het Albino traits, clarify current shipping timelines given seasonal pauses, and confirm any state-specific permit requirements before purchase.
